Pride in Diversity Training

For a morning of learning and connection with a focus on workplace inclusion, join Albany Pride and Pride in Diversity with two premium educational sessions offered back-to-back. Starting with groundwork in Trans and Gender Diverse awareness (90 minutes) and then an empowering session on how to become a stronger ally (90 minutes), these sessions are designed to be attended together to build on your knowledge. Let’s come together Reaching Albany with Pride! 

Light morning tea provided between sessions.

PLEASE NOTE: The venue has changed for this event - it will now be held at Vancouver Arts Centre (not Albany Town Hall).

Accessibility: 

• ACROD parking is available near the main entrance of the Vancouver Arts Centre to the west of the main building with wheelchair access to the main building available via the front door. 
• Accessible toilets available. 
• Lighting will be low/moderate and noise level will be low for this event.
• Portable seat available without arm rests - please let us know if you require further accessible seating support or information, or reserved seating for a mobility device.
