Join us for the official opening of the x Rainbow Takeover exhibition and our queer networking evening to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and allies alike. This special exhibition boasts works from over 17 different queer artists and makers from across the nation. 

Join us at this saucy soiree to meet the artists, hang out with likeminded queer community members and allies; and see incredible artworks.

X Rainbow Takeover Exhibition

This exhibition is a celebratory patchwork of pieces by queer artists from across the nation, centered around the nucleus of LGBTQIA+ pride. Each artwork reacts to collective and individual experiences of queerness, love, and togetherness. It is about storytelling, truth telling, and the coming-together through the commonalities of the larger plight of being queer. The work within this exhibition demonstrates the diverse composition of the LGBTQIA+ community, with each piece being vastly different from each other, created within different circumstances, different processes, intentions, and materials, yet still simultaneously belonging together. 

This exhibition is about placemaking a safe space within our social, cognitive, and geographic landscape.
