PRIDE PREPPERS Queerobodalla Pride Month
Description
PRIDE PREPPERS | Saturday 16 May 2026 at Art Central, Moruya
Getting ready for Pride Month 2026 in the Eurobodalla Shire!
Join Queerobodalla for a day of arts, craft, community fun, connection and entertainment as we get ready for the month long Queerobodalla Pride Festival in June 2026 throughout the Eurobodalla Shire. Queerobodalla began in 2024 running a full program of Pride Month events and we are excited to be back this year with an even bigger, more exciting program that includes something for everyone as we celebrate, raise awareness and show support for LGBTQIA+ people living in the Eurobodalla Shire (and beyond).
Queerobodalla's Pride In The Park event will take place on Sunday 7 June 2026 at Moruya Riverside Park and we are wanting to make this celebration the most colourful, vibrant and spectacular the shire has ever seen, so we are calling on community members to come together on Saturday 16 May and get involved in banner making, screen printing, bike decorating, stall holder information, volunteer sign up and more. This day is about collaboration and connection and we invite everyone coming along to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the live music, whilst getting crafty. No prior arts/craft experience needed!

Queerobodalla is a grassroots volunteer LGBTQIA+ group aiming to create safe, visible and connected events for LGBTQIA+ people and allies. We are on the look out for more volunteers to get involved in putting on a whole range of activities and events. Sign up as a volunteer or sponsor here: https://www.jotform.com/build/260637991671064

This event is taking place on the home of the Brinja-Yuin people of the Yuin Nation and we show gratitude to the Traditional Custodians for their continued stewardship of these lands and waters, paying our respects to elders past, present and emerging.
