Pride Run & Walk
Description
Lace up your joggers and join Adelaide Frontrunners for a vibrant, high-energy pride celebration at Lochiel parkrun!
This free 5km community event celebrates diversity, inclusion and wellbeing in the great outdoors. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or just in it for the fun walk and friendly faces, everyone is welcome – all ages, identities, and fitness levels. You don’t need to be fast or even sporty – just come along, bring your fabulous self, and soak in the atmosphere of pride, colour and connection. Dogs (on lead, one dog per person only) are very welcome and encouraged to join in the fun!
Adelaide Frontrunners is a social LGBTQ+ running and walking group, and we’re proud to create spaces where everyone feels safe and celebrated. Expect rainbow outfits, uplifting vibes, and an awesome crew of volunteers cheering you on every step of the way.
The Lochiel parkrun course follows the picturesque river – perfect for a morning stroll or a personal best. And best of all, it's totally free! Just make sure to register with parkrun beforehand for your barcode (www.parkrun.com.au/register/). Please also register with Feast Festival to help with planning.
Time: Arrive by 7:45am for the briefing and to review the course map, as the event starts at 8am. Stick around after the event for chats, coffee, and community connection – because nothing beats starting your weekend with a healthy dose of pride, positivity and caffeine!
