Event description

LOUD and PROUD: Taiko Drumming Workshop is hosted by VUW Mukume Taiko Drummers in collaboration with UniQ Te Herenga Waka.

Feel the rhythm, feel the pride! Come along for a hands-on Taiko drumming session as part of Pride Fest!

No experience needed, just wear comfy clothes and get ready to learn something new. This is a great way to try out a dynamic art form, meet other students, and unwind in a welcoming, queer-friendly space!

This event is completely free, you just need to register to get a ticket as there is a maximum number of people to attend the workshop! If you are unable to register for tickets due to the workshop being full, please contact us at info@uniqthw.org.nz and express you interest, as we may hold an additional workshop depending on demand.
