Celebrate the extraordinary achievements of women.Â

Our first event of the series, International Women’s Day, we welcome esteemed guest Christine Nixon AO.Â
As the 19th Chief Commissioner of Victoria Police, she has direct experience of running a highly complex organisation through change, disruption and, at times, extreme circumstances. Christine Nixon was the first woman to become a police commissioner in Australia, leading 14,000 staff and oversaw an annual budget of $1.7 billion. Christine Nixon AO rose to the top in the male-dominated field of policing and can enthral an audience with her visible compassion, warmth, intelligence, and determination.Â
