    Lady Sings The Blues, a story about women in song, their hurts, struggles and pain whilst their beauty remains the same, is Back! With Volume 2 to  embark on more stories of the women that have shaped the history of music

      You will be transported from the speak easy setting to the very heart of our Lady. Prinnie Stevens. Australia’s own RnB Soul Songstress. We first met Prinnie on Season1 of The voice battling best friend Mahalia Barnes, Prinnie went on to have a hugely successful career in Musical Theatre & LIVE music. The show combines Prinnie’s Musical Theatre, Pop, Soul & Gospel experience to create a diverse show like no other. Volume 2 will Ft the Songs & Stories of the greats: Billie Holiday, Mahalia Jackson, Nina Simone,  Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Tina Turner and more.

        It is a show like none other, with a song selection that spans over 100 years and touching on social issues across those decades. Prinnie will not only move you with her world class vocals but she will challenge your world as know it!

        Supported by the amazing - Ruby Archer

        Ruby Archer is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter from the NSW Central Coast who creates unique, jazzy pop with feminist undertones and husky vocals. Her debut EP chamomile tea attracted several song writing awards and after putting together a band of like-minded musicians, Ruby and the Groovy Doobies won first prize in YouthRock 2022. Ruby won the 15 Years of triple j's Unearthed High Competition and the chance to perform with her Groovy Doobies at Vivid Sydney. She was included in the 2023 triple J Unearthed High Yearbook as the artist “most likely to invent an entirely new chord” and was also featured in the half hour documentary Music Central (ABC Compass) about the power of music to create connection and healing on the NSW Central Coast. Ruby took out the Youth Category at the Australian Songwriters Association Song Writing Awards for her single New Dream and her debut album Oh So Tender, showcases her diverse song writing abilities and was released to critical acclaim at the inaugural 2023 Tubular Music Festival.
