Join us for this exceptional one-off workshop and support MAKE! All profit to the festival!

This workshop is part of MAKE (Melbourne Alternative Comics Expo) fundraising event program. Emilie is waiving her teaching fee and this workshop is offered at a discounted price! And you're supporting our new festival happening in October.

Emilie will teach you how to design for milk carton etching and create 6 page fold-out zine.

We'll print your zine in a pasta maker and delight at the beautiful texture created by this DIY technique.

Milk carton etching is an easy, eco-friendly accessible technique of printmaking that doesn’t require a press, chemicals or expensive copper or zinc plates. It's a great way to learn about the basics of printmaking using an environmentally friendly method of up-cycling.

We'll use milk carton small plates as comics panels, and design a series of 6 images. We'll print on beautiful printmaking paper Fabriano in a pasta maker and assemble your fold-out zine! Keep printing more at home !

Emilie will teach you the basic principles of milk carton ethcing through a hands-on approach. You'll learn to design for print, carve, ink and print in the pasta maker. The workshop will provide you with the autonomie to keep using this technique at home.

Emilie's classes are fun, engaging and adapted to your level!

No experience required. Complete beginners welcome!

the workshop will take place at Laneway Learning, our partner for this event.

On the same day, All Stars Comics book shop is holding a Tote bags customisation event !
