Printed Tea Towels with Madeline Young
Event description
Printed tea Towels with Madeline Young
When: Wednesday October 30th 6-8.30pm (2.5 hrs)
Price: $120 per person (plus booking fee)
What you’ll get: two linen tea towels hand printed by you. We’ll provide all the materials required as well as light refreshments including tea and coffee.
What you need to bring: an apron (we don’t want to get paint on your nice clothes), closed shoes. You’re welcome to bring along any inspiration you like but we’ll provide plenty as well.
About the Workshop: Join Gallery Director and practicing artist Madeline Young for a fun evening of block printing. Madi will take you through the full process of hand-printing your own fabric from start to finish. You’ll design your own motifs, carve your own soft rubber stamps and learn how to make basic fabric prints.
Suitable for beginners, recommended for ages 12 and up. We will be using sharp tools so a cautious approach is recommended.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Due to the nature of these workshops we cannot refund your ticket if you cancel within 7 days of the event. The Corner Store Gallery reserves the right to cancel this workshop due to unforeseen circumstances or if minimum tickets sales are not met. In the event of teacher cancellation your payment will be fully refunded.
