Event description

Join SECCA’s friendly art educators for a printmaking workshop inspired by the Mariw Minaral exhibition featuring the powerful work of Torres Strait Islander artist Alick Tipoti.


After a guided tour of the exhibition, explore a range of relief printmaking techniques inspired by the detailed motifs and characters of Alick Tipoti's large-scale lino prints. This hands-on workshop will guide an introduction across printmaking techniques including foam printing, stamp making and lino cut. Gain confidence and a deeper knowledge of the medium in this relaxed and fun workshop of all day art making this school holidays.


All materials provided. Kids must bring their own drink bottle, hat and nut free lunch/ snacks for break times.

Bookings essential as places are limited!

Ages 9 - 12

Fri 10 October, 10am - 3pm

$85 per child (plus booking fee). Creative Kids vouchers accepted.

Bookings also accepted in person at the SECCA Desk.
