Meet Our Special Guest Presenter

Edgar Elzerman has over 20 years of international retail experience. After obtaining a Master’s degree in Business Economics, Edgar started his career at Royal Ahold in 1996.

Edgar has held positions in Operations, Category Management and International Sourcing and worked on Business Development projects across Europe, Asia and the US. In 2009 he took an expatriate role in the US as Vice President Own Brands, including areas like Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Merchandising, Marketing & Branding and Product Design.

In 2014 Edgar founded ECI (Elzerman Consulting International) and has worked since on Private Brand projects (both Strategic Planning as well as Ad Interim positions) across 4 continents.

Edgar is recognised throughout the world as the co-host of PLMA Live, which is broadcasted online in five languages. Edgar also conducts a series of interviews with well-known people in the world of Store Brands (http://www.plmalive.eu), known as 'Edgar's Friends'. He gives presentations and workshops on Private Brand development and Category Management across the world.
