Event description

This is a 2 Day Bootcamp delivered over 2 consecutive Mondays, 4 and 11 July 2022.

Ticket sales end midday Friday 1st July unless sold out prior.

Building, delivering, and growing a successful product is a complex and collaborative endeavour.

Product management is a key function that works across various stakeholders in an organization, ensuring business priorities are met and customer value is delivered. As more and more companies become product-led and competition forces innovation, the role of product management has become a key differentiator for organizational success.

In this introductory course you’ll learn what product people do and how to master the techniques of successful product management throughout the product lifecycle. You'll leave with the ability to apply your new superpowers to go from a smart problem definition to a winning go-to-market strategy.

You will learn to:

  • Identify problems that can be transformed into opportunities that capture economic value
  • Engage with customers to deeply understand their problems and how to build products that turn them from users to champions
  • Build and manage effective product roadmaps
  • Sharpen your prioritization skills so that you can make the best choices every day
  • Use data and metrics to build confidence in your hypothesis and make product decisions during the product life cycle
  • Work with engineering to build the right thing
  • Collaboratively bring products to market with impact
  • Key tools of the trade like building personas, interview techniques, impact mapping, experimentation and customer journeys

The course runs as a mix of academic topics, interactive discussion, and hands-on exercises. We're very open to you bringing along stories or concepts you want to work with on the day.

Takeaways: Course materials and slides, printables as reminders of the key concept and new PM superpowers you can apply right away.

Dates 2 full day sessions running 9am until 4.30pm on two consecutive Mondays; 4 & 11 July  2022
