Event description

Brought to you by Edge Impact and Eco Choice Aotearoa, this workshop offers an in-depth exploration of the latest product transparency standards, tools, and opportunities, helping you develop a tailored approach for your business

Why join?
With recent updates to the Green Star points system by the NZ Green Building Council, building product manufacturers have even more reason to leverage tools such as Ecolabels, Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). This workshop will cut through the jargon, providing a clear understanding of these tools and guiding you in positioning your brand as a leader in sustainability.

What we'll cover

  • Green Star Updates: An overview of recent Green Star changes and their impact on sustainable design and product specifications.
  • Transparency Tools Demystified: A clear guide to Ecolabels, LCAs, and EPDs, and how each supports compliance, market trust, and Green Star ratings.
  • Industry Outlook: A preview of upcoming best practices and regulatory changes for New Zealand’s built environment sector.
  • Interactive Roadmap Session: Collaborate with peers and industry experts to begin building a bespoke disclosure roadmap for your projects.

Who should attend?

  • In-house sustainability and procurement teams
