Event description

Get ready for an exciting Professional Development Day aimed at High School Media and Film & TV Teachers. This day will be hosted by the Film & Television department at our Brisbane JMC Academy campus!

The event aims to provide an opportunity for you to bring along the equipment that you use in the classroom, including cameras and lavalier microphones, to troubleshoot any problems and engage in hands-on learning including time in our computer labs learning Adobe Premiere Pro basics.

The event will take place on Monday the 17th of April, from 9 am to 2:45 pm, with a cost of $250 per person, including lunch.

During the Adobe Premiere Pro session, our experienced lecturers will cover a range of topics, such as ingesting footage, setting up a project, and the basics of editing video and audio. They will also address any common issues that you may encounter in your current teachings.

In addition, our team will provide equipment training where you can bring your Canon 850D or any other type of camera that you may be using, and our lecturers will run through standard settings and more. You will also work with the Lavalier microphone and learn about 3-point lighting and its uses.

We are thrilled to have this opportunity to collaborate with you and hope that you can join us for this professional development event.
