PROJECT24 - Monthly Artist Showing 

Join us for our monthly Project24 artist in residence showing. Each month we invite you to come and meet the artist, see what they have been up to and connect with other creatives on the coast. 

Down in Studio3, Kerbside Collective, consisting of Aimee and Mark Gray, a creative DIY duo that do all their own stunts. Their creative practice spans across different art forms including theatre, music, performance, video and circus with a passion for play and exploring endless possibilities. During the residency, they are delving deeper into what is possible with the 'Hills Hoist'. Part installation and performance piece incorporating projection exploring how, as adults, we spark imagination and how we keep it alive.

Up in the MakerSpace is Sam Harrison, a Brisbane based visual artist and curator with cultural connections to Kamilaroi and Wiradjuri people of Central NSW. Sam has worked in a number of creative capacities, as an exhibiting artist, curator, artist assistant and arts teacher for young adults with autism. He has a keen interest in exploring how art functions in urban settings to create healthy, inclusive and enjoyable environments. Sam will be collaborating with Dylan Bolger on a new series of works over the month.

Project24 is an artist in residence program that provides space for artists to develop, collaborate, experiment and showcase their work at 2ND Space, Nambour. This year we will host 24 x residencies engaging hundreds of artists from across the region and beyond.

Come and engage with the artist and find out more about everything they've been working on.

2ND Space is 131 Currie St, Nambour, access if via a laneway between 34 - 36 Howard St, Nambour.
