The Project Management Day of Service (PMDoS) is a one-day event where non-profits receive pro-bono (free) professional project management services to tackle their toughest challenges.

We’re calling on Project Management and Business Professionals to lend their expertise by working closely with non-profits to scope projects, define outcomes, and develop actionable plans to help them achieve their goals.

Whether you’re a professional in project management, business strategy, operations, IT, finance, marketing, or another field where your expertise can support a charity’s problem-solving efforts, you can get involved. Ready to make a difference?

Date: Friday 14 March 2025
Location: UCSA (University of Canterbury Student Association), 90 Ilam Road, Christchurch
Time: Doors open at 8:30 AM for an 8:45 AM start. The event ends at 5:00 PM.

Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and refreshments throughout the day
Sponsorship to enable non-profit representatives to attend the event free of charge

What Happens After You Register?

1. Registration Closes – Consultant registrations close on Friday 21 February.

2. Matching Process – Once registrations close, we’ll match you with a nonprofit or charity based on your skills and experience, as well as the problem they’re bringing to PMDoS.

3. Receive Your Match & Problem Statement – You’ll be introduced to your nonprofit/charity and receive their problem statement, giving you insight into their challenges before the event.

4. Pre-Event Information Session – Ahead of the event, we’ll arrange an online information evening, where all nonprofits and consultants can meet and learn more about what to expect on the day.

5. Event Day! – Come prepared to collaborate, problem-solve, and make an impact!
