Whether you’re a pickleball pro or picking up a paddle for the first time, this event is designed for everyone. Our format is social, fun and welcoming! We're focused on getting active, meeting new people and having a great time.

FAQs
- Who is the event for?
Whether you’re completely new to pickleball or already love the game, everyone is welcome!
- How does the event work?
When you arrive, you'll be assigned a player number and placed in groups. If you're coming with friends or there's someone you'd like to play with, let us know during checkout and we'll do our best to group you together.
We'll play 15 minute rotations, giving you the chance to meet and play with different people throughout the session. This is a social event focused on having fun, so there's no pressure to keep score.
If you and you're court want to keep track, you're welcome to play points and keep score :)
- What should I wear?
Come dressed in your best 80s-inspired outfit! Think fluro colours, sweatbands, leg warmers, retro sportswear and anything that brings the 80s vibes. Please wear runners/ non-marking shoes.
- Do I bring my own paddle?
No. Paddle hire is included with your ticket. If you have your own paddle, you’re welcome to bring it along.
- What is included in my ticket?
Your ticket includes:
90 minutes of pickleball play
Paddle hire (if required)
Food
Non-alcoholic drinks
Access to the 80s themed event experience, including music, and MC
- Is food and drink provided?
Yes! Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided during the event. Jarritos has kindly donated drinks for the night. Please let us know about any dietary requirements when purchasing your ticket so we can do our best to accommodate you.
- Will alcohol be available?
No. This is a non-alcoholic event focused on creating a fun, welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
- What happens if it rains?
The event will go ahead! Runway Pickleball is an indoor venue, so weather won’t impact the event.
