Description

As part of the CSIRO and Landcare Vic "Project Sea Spurge" We invite you to this workshop to learn more about how this invasive weed is negatively impacting our coast lines and the Bio Control that has been developed to try and reduce the infested areas.

This event is a partnership between 3 volunteer groups, Wildlife in Sandy Point (WISP), Tarwin Landcare Group and South Gippsland Conservation Society (SGCS)

Our Key Presenter is Gavin Hunter from the CSIRO.

We will also learn how to mix up the bio control and then following lunch will head to Beach 5 Venus Bay and release the fungus (which involves spraying some sea spurge plants)

We are also thrilled to have involvement from the Bunurong Land Council ranger teams.

DOOR PRIZE - every attendee goes into the draw to win a Cruza e-bike Voucher valued at $150

LUNCH AND REFRESHMENTS INCLUDED, please let us know about any special dietary requirements
