PROPAGANDA XIII

We’re celebrating 13 years of PROPAGANDA on the 13th of June!

Join us at Darby Street Station as we return for a special INTERNATIONAL PRIDE MONTH edition, featuring FOUR DJs and a night built for pure celebration. This venue is perfect for PROPAGANDA, and we’re ready to bring it back in full force.

Expect a high-energy mix of club anthems, circuit bangers, and tech house heat—start to finish.

And yes, we’re loading in the full PROPAGANDA production experience: immersive LED visuals, massive sound, and all the glitter and edge you expect.

TRULY SAFE PARTYING

Our TRULY SAFE PARTYING Policy has been very successful. This Saturday, our partners at Burnett Foundation Aotearoa and The NZ Drug Foundation are holding a 'Test yourself, test your drugs' session ahead of PROPAGANDA, head to the Drug Foundation for clinic dates, times & info.

We can't wait to be back—see you on the dance floor!

ABOUT THETA PROJECT

Since 2013, Theta Project has produced some of New Zealand’s most recognised LGBTQIA+ events and entertainment experiences.

Our portfolio includes PROPAGANDA, HOMO HOUSE, TOP, SUNDAY SOCIAL, HEY FELICIA!, DRAG QUEEN MUSIC BINGO and CLUB BROADWAY.

Beyond our own brands, we’ve collaborated on some of the country’s biggest LGBTQIA+ events, including Synthony Pride at Spark Arena, PROUD, the Rainbow Games Opening Ceremony and the Big Gay Out.

We’ve also brought internationally acclaimed performers including Bianca Del Rio and Courtney Act to New Zealand audiences.

OUR BRANDS

PROPAGANDA

New Zealand’s biggest gay party since 2013.

Our flagship party. Expect spectacular production, massive LED screens, immersive lighting, lasers, world-class DJs and unforgettable performances.

The soundtrack moves from camp club anthems and pop remixes to vocal circuit and uplifting tech house — delivering an unapologetically big night from the first track to the final encore.

HOMO HOUSE

Auckland’s underground gay club night.

High-end production. Cutting-edge DJs. Underground house and tech house.

But make it Homo.

TOP

The highest gay party in New Zealand.

Handbag house, disco classics, vocal house and pop remixes — all served from a luxury rooftop overlooking Auckland.

SUNDAY SOCIAL

A Big Gay Sunday Session.

A relaxed, social Sunday with indoor-outdoor vibes, feel-good house music, drag-hosted entertainment and a crowd that knows how to make the weekend last a little longer.

DRAG QUEEN MUSIC BINGO

Where drag meets music bingo.

Hosted by outrageous drag queens, Drag Queen Music Bingo combines your favourite songs with comedy, chaos, audience participation and seriously good prizes. Hear the hits, recognise the song, mark your card and race to BINGO — all while being entertained by some of New Zealand’s best drag performers.

Expect massive singalongs, hilarious moments, unexpected twists and a crowd that’s very much part of the show. It’s bingo, but absolutely not as you know it.

HEY FELICIA!

A drag comedy spectacular.

Fast-paced, filthy, fabulous and completely unpredictable, HEY FELICIA! combines outrageous characters, hilarious comedy, dazzling performances and interactive games for a night of non-stop entertainment.

CLUB BROADWAY

Broadway meets the dancefloor.

In partnership with DJ Dan Murphy, CLUB BROADWAY transforms musical theatre into a full-blown club experience — with show tunes, pop favourites, Disney classics, movie musicals, themed performances and massive singalongs.

Whether you’re a lifelong musical theatre obsessive or simply love a great night out, this is your standing ovation on the dancefloor.

A SAFE SPACE TO PARTY

Creating genuinely safe and inclusive spaces has always been at the heart of Theta Project.

Through our Truly Safe Partying Policy and partnerships with Burnett Foundation Aotearoa and the New Zealand Drug Foundation, we’re committed to creating environments where everyone can celebrate safely, confidently and without compromise.
