Propagation of Nillumbik Indigenous Plants

Join us for a workshop by Fiona on "Propagation of Nillumbik Indigenous Plants" where you will learn propagation techniques for some local plants. Techniques covered include seed sowing, cuttings and divisions. Learn which species are easier to propagate and some tips and tricks.

The workshop will include a tour of our seedbank and propagation areas at Edendale Nursery.

Fiona Cross

Fiona currently works at Edendale Nursery for the Shire of Nillumbik – propagating and selling indigenous plants from the Shire. Fiona has worked in the conservation/horticultural industry for over 30 years, with experience in flora survey across Victoria, teaching Conservation and Horticulture students, and native plant propagation. 

This is an adult focused learning experience and not suited to young children.
