Wooragee Landcare is presenting a workshop on propagating tussocky plants like Mat-rushes, sedges and grasses. They can be propagated easily at home using a technique called "division". Come and learn how to do this, and pot up and take some home for your garden.

Why tussocky plants are great

atttractive
tough
take minimal maintenance and water
great habitat for lizards, food for birds like red-browed finches, good erosion control and soil stabilisers

What to bring : bring gloves, good boots, trousers, a box or container to take home some pots of divided plants if you don't want to make a mess in your car.

We will provide morning tea
We will have some tools but if you have a spade it could be useful.
