The only thing better than fireworks on the Fourth of July? The spark between travel pros over a killer lunch!

As we celebrate the sparkle of Independence Day and the heart of summer, PROST LA invites you to keep the patriotic spirit alive with a fabulous July luncheon—served cool and stylish at the chic, elegant Downtown LA Proper Hotel.

The fireworks may be over, but the connections, conversations, and cold cocktails are just getting started. Join us for a midsummer gathering filled with amazing people, delicious food, and that signature PROST LA flair—no sunscreen required!

With city lights and vintage brick as a backdrop, Downtown Los Angeles Proper re-imagines luxury in the historic district and updates an iconic Broadway Corridor landmark into a 147-room destination hotel. Here, the creative vision of Kelly Wearstler seamlessly blends past and present with compelling design, vintage influence and local art. Essentials include two destination restaurants in partnership with James Beard Award-winning L.A. chef Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne (Lucques, a.o.c., Hollywood Bowl Food + Wine, Larder Baking company); an intimate library-lounge, a city-view rooftop pool and lounge-bar-restaurant. Especially Proper are two singular, one-of-a-kind suites fashioned from the basketball court and indoor pool of the building’s sporting club past.

🌴 PLA Members Only: RSVP opens Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 9:00 AM (PST).
🌟 Guests & Remaining Members: Due to the 4th of July holiday weekend, RSVPs for guests and all members opens Monday, July 7, 2025 at 9:00 AM (PST).

Be sure to reserve your spot early—this event will fill up fast!

Non-members must have an attending Member host sponsor in order to RSVP.

ONE guest per Member.

NOTE:  New PLA rules effective May 1, 2025 and going forward: 

• NON-member Supplier guests are limited to attending four PROST LA luncheons per year (which includes the December PLA Holiday gala).  This does not apply to our Supplier colleagues who are on the PLA Supplier Membership Waitlist, nor does it apply to our Travel Advisor non-member guests.

• Supplier PLA Members who RSVP and intend to invite guests are respectfully strongly encouraged to invite at least one Travel Advisor guest (who can be members or non-members).

Venue: We will be dining indoors in the Caldo Verde room.

Parking: Discounted Valet Parking for $20

Our Menu:

1st Course: Stone fruit Salad - Ricotta, almonds, shallot

Choice of Main Course:

Grilled Branzino - summer succotash, chili sauce, labneh

or

Lemon Chicken Paillard - Piri Piri, French fries, arugula salad

or

Grilled summer squash - scallion kimchee, kale, farro, cashews (V)

3rd Course: Caramel apple cream puff - Pineapple cremeux, candied pecans

PRICING FOR THIS EVENT:

• $75 per person for all PROST Los Angeles 2025 Members

• $80 per person for Travel Advisor Non-Members

• $125 per person for Vendor/Supplier Non-Members

• Please note that if you choose the incorrect ticket category (i.e. a supplier registers as a travel advisor), your ticket will be canceled. There are a certain number of supplier and travel advisor spots so we can ensure the correct balance of attendees for our host hotels. If we do not do this, we will not have venues that want to host our group. Thank you for your understanding.
