Cole Cornford

Cole is the founder and CEO of Galah Cyber. Cole specialises in establishing, assessing, and refining AppSec programs for Australian and international businesses. He boasts leadership and technical experience across a diverse array of sectors, including tech, banking and finance, not-for-profits, federal government, health, law, and telecommunications.

Cole is the founding director of Galah Cyber, Australia's premier software security consultancy. Cole also consults and leads cyber security for companies like Westpac, Telstra and the Australian Taxation Office.

Cole hosts the Secured podcast and is a regular security keynote speaker who writes influential security-focused articles. In his spare time Coles tries to grow the tech footprint in the Newcastle region through collaborations and guest lectures with the University of Newcastle, organising tech-oriented regional conferences and helping local community groups thrive. He shares his expertise across small and large businesses from the tech, banking and finance, not-for-profit, government, health, law, and telecommunications sectors.

Sarah Box

Sarah is a seasoned project management professional with a focus on cybersecurity awareness and education. In her recent role, she managed the Willyama Cyber Traineeship Program as part of the Cyber Security Skills Partnership Innovation Fund, developing a successful traineeship program, collaborating with stakeholders, and organising Cyber Security Events. Prior to this, at The Business Centre, Sarah led the Cyber Security Culture Program for Regional SMEs, creating resources, providing training, and coordinating events.

Previously, as the Workforce Development Lead at the NSW Cyber Security Network, she played a key role in developing education programs and partnerships in the cyber security sector. Sarah's expertise includes building partnerships, coordinating programs, and promoting cyber security awareness, making her a valuable asset in the industry.
