Event description

Join us for an interactive, community-focused natural disaster preparedness evening workshop in Mallan!

This workshop aims to increase participant preparedness in the face of increasingly severe natural disasters, so that you can protect what matters to you. We will help you prepare your own emergency plans and provide locally relevant information to start a conversation around community preparedness in Mallan.

Work with emergency service providers from Rural Fire Service, Red Cross, Local Land Services, Landcare NSW and more.

Learn about landscaping for natural disaster resilience and see first hand the flammability of some of our local native plants in a practical demonstration.

This event will be fully catered and provide fantastic networking opportunities between the community and emergency services.
