Protecting and Shaping your Legacy - West Melton
Description
When: Thursday 19 November, 5pm - 7pm
Where: Watson Oakley Lounge - West Melton Community and Recreation Centre
Light refreshments provided
Registration is essential
Join Yana, Laura and Lynne for a relaxed evening of thoughtful conversation to explore how we can protect the things that matter most to us later in life, and when we die.
Kura Tāwhiti will host a panel discussion with:
Yana Gilbuena-Babu - a local End of Life Doula
Laura Daly - Senior Solicitor from D'arcy Thomson Law
Lynne Umbers - Cheif Executive of the Kura Tāwhiti Foundation
This event was initially hosted in Christchurch City as part of Dying Matters Week, connecting people across Aotearoa to start conversations in a safe space, learn from local experts and seek support to plan for later life and end-of-life and to navigate grief and loss.
The content has been adapted specifically for a West Melton audience. There will be time after the presentations to ask questions and speak to each team individually about your own needs.
Contact Polly on 021829255 or pollyanne.pena@kuratawhiticcf.org.nz for more information or if you have specific questions for our panelists.
