Come along to our fourth annual Proud Voices On Screen event at Auckland Pride Festival - a day of short films, panel discussions and networking. Celebrate queer, lgtbqia+, takatāpui & rainbow voices in the Aotearoa screen industry. Meet like-minded people, watch great films and hear from queer filmmakers about their recent projects. All levels of filmmaking experience are welcome.

Balancing Visibility and Safety when Documenting Queer Lives
Directors Ramon Te Wake (Trans and Pregnant) and Perrin Hastings (The Gender Agenda) talk to moderator Thomas Coppell (Little Apocalypse) about the importance of documenting and sharing queer lived experiences while also considering the personal safety of the subjects throughout production and distribution.

The not-so-speedy speed-dating event where queer filmmakers get the chance to meet like-minded creatives and potentially their next collaborators. Join us for our facilitated networking event where we curate a series of 10-minute round tables, with an MC to help spark conversation. Sign up in advance to let us know what types of creatives you’re hoping to connect with and we’ll seat you at tables with potential matches. Walk-ins are welcome (but you’ll be allocated seats based on availability rather than suitability). Please arrive 15 mins in advance so we can start promptly at 2:30pm.
