For an accredited certificate to be issued, the online prior learning must be completed, and CPR must be performed on the floor with no exemptions. The HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate is valid for three (3) years from the completion date. The Code of Practice and Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills are refreshed annually.
Participants who complete the face-to-face training but do not complete the online prior learning will be issued a non-accredited information session certificate.
Clothing: We suggest you wear comfortable, casual clothing, as the practical nature of the demonstrations and practice may require bending, kneeling, and lying on the floor. Please wear or bring socks. Pants and flat shoes are recommended.
