Providing Mental Health Support Training

The City of Armadale’s Club Development and Armadale Volunteer Services are offering a free full day mental health support training session for volunteers presented by Evolve WA.

Topics will include common issues such as depression, anxiety and substance misuse, along with more acute conditions such as psychosis, personality disorders and cognitive impairments, along with self harm and suicide ideation.

This course focuses on how to recognise warning signs of mental health issues in self and others, and what to do in response.

Places are limited and bookings are essential. Lunch will be provided.
