    Event description

The Australian Psychedelic Society invites you to attend our next psychedelic integration circle. We are grateful to be able to host this event at 'North Perth Yoga Room' *NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE, a cosy studio in North Perth that will be a supportive space for us. We hope to create a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment for anyone seeking to integrate a past experience, or learn more before they participate in one in the future. We will support you to make sense of challenging experiences, to share a meaningful experience with like-minded people, and to connect with the local community.
We acknowledge that recreational use of psychedelics continues despite a long history of criminalisation. The group does not encourage or condone recreational use but we do provide harm minimisation support and psycho-education to those who make their own choice to do this. The circle will focus on learning tools and techniques to work through experiences in a structured way, guiding members through a process of reflection and action. A mental health professional will be present.
We are very grateful to Steven & Priya for offering to facilitate this evening, both are knowledgeable, intelligent and passionate about this thriving culture of psychedelics we find ourselves in. Expect a taste of meditation and sound healing suitable for beginners.

    FACILITATORS -
Steven and Priya have have a wealth of experience and have been collaborating together for many years hosting immersive retreats and events that focus on the powerful combination of sound therapy with yoga. Their complementary skill sets bring a balanced and accessible exploration of healing modalities for men and women of all ages.

Steven Alyian is a musician and multidisciplinary artist whose endeavours include film-making, performance and community development. He is a training psychotherapist specialising in sound and art therapy. Steven composes and performs music with a variety of projects that have toured around the globe and now regularly exhibits artworks at international exhibitions and galleries. He plays instruments including guitar, hand-pan, flute and didgeridoo and has been trained in the use of sound therapy tools focusing on meditation through listening practices with overtone rich instruments. Steven believes that sound is the most powerful tool in the quieting of the mind, fusion of self-empowerment and the unlocking of our greatest potential as human beings.

Priya’s unique events feel transcendent yet supportive and truly empowering.
