Define the role and responsibilities of a GP treating patients with work-related psychological injuries.
Recognise and understand the impact of work-related psychological injuries on patients’ wellbeing.
Develop and apply strategies for effective conversations, emphasising the health benefits of work and fostering patient engagement in their recovery journey.
Define physician burnout, workplace bullying and adjustment disorder.
Identify psychological injuries in patients, explore contributing factors, and assess available systems and supports to facilitate recovery.
Understand the psychologist’s role and collaborate effectively with psychologists and other team members to support a successful return to work.
