- Define the role and responsibilities of a GP treating patients with work-related psychological injuries.
- Recognise and understand the impact of work-related psychological injuries on patients’ wellbeing.
- Develop and apply strategies for effective conversations, emphasising the health benefits of work and fostering patient engagement in their recovery journey.
- Define physician burnout, workplace bullying and adjustment disorder.
- Identify psychological injuries in patients, explore contributing factors, and assess available systems and supports to facilitate recovery.
- Understand the psychologist’s role and collaborate effectively with psychologists and other team members to support a successful return to work.
