Dr Michaels holds a PhD in Intersectional Identities at Work and has extensive experience in DEI consulting, education, and research. Representing Paisley Group, known for partnering with organisations to develop safe, respectful, and inclusive cultures, and leading the Women of Colour Safety and Work (WoCSAW) Research Institute, Dr Michaels will provide a foundational understanding of psychological safety in the workplace, applying an intersectional lens. She will also address the common misconception of whether psychological safety equates to a workplace free from discrimination.
