Psychologically-Informed Creative Wellbeing Experience | Introduction

This introductory class is not your traditional art workshop, rather, it explores issues around stress, emotional wellbeing, creativity and the nervous system in an accessible and non-clinical way. The focus is not on producing “good art,” but on the experience of creativity, self-expression, reflection, and nervous system awareness.

Through guided creative activities, simple neuroscience-informed learning, watercolour exploration, and reflective practices, you are invited to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore creativity in a supportive and safe environment.

The focus is not on diagnosing, treating, or analysing participants, but on creating opportunities for calm reflection, self-awareness, creativity, and supportive community connection.

To participate in this introductory workshop no artistic experience is required.

REFUND POLICY

A full refund can be provided when written notification is received at least 14 days before the workshop start date and time. This allows us time to readvertise your space as we need full numbers to make workshops viable. Refunds are not provided for cancellations received after this time, for non-attendance, or for part-attendance (applies to a two or three-part workshop/ongoing course). We cannot offer a credit towards future workshops.

CANCELLATION OF AN EVENT DUE TO NOT REACHING CLASS NUMBERS

Thankfully this is an unusual occurrence, but it can happen. If we don’t reach the minimum number of bookings required to go ahead, we will notify you within seven days of the workshop date and issue a refund.

We will work inside the gallery, well-protected from the weather. However, if driving is a safety issue, we may need to cancel. We will do our best to advise you by email before the start-time, but this may not always be possible due to power failures/internet reception/staff being stranded. Please check your email and junk mail for notices before leaving home. Refunds issued in full.
