This 7 x hour Workshop style training is designed to provide workplaces with practical and relevant knowledge around the new Psychosocial Code of Practice that came into effect on 1st April 2023 -
  • Understanding what psychosocial hazards are in the workplace and your legal obligation
  • The principles of good work design
  • Understanding mental health issues and spotting the signs
  • How to respond if a worker has an issue or makes a complaint
  • Case studies with practicable examples
  • Individual exercise to identify the top psychosocial hazards in your workplace, assess the risk and identify existing controls and where to improve.
  • Utilise relevant templates to identify hazards, assess the level of risks in your workplace
  • Build confidence to improve your workplace culture with pre-planning to avoid emergency responses (proactive rather than reactive)
  • Emotional Intelligence and Resilience basics, keeping yourself well and creative ways to support mental health in workplaces
  • Take-away relevant skills, templated materials to further ensure not just compliance, but best practice
  • Information about further training opportunities

The course activities include group discussions, case studies, activities, theory, and it is very interactive and interesting.
