PTA Youth Complaints Handling Review Workshop

The Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA) has been engaged by the Public Transport Authority (PTA) to support the improvement of their current complaints handling procedures to be more youth-friendly. This project development from a series of recommendations to the PTA by the Commissioner for Children and Young People.
YACWA is engaging young people aged 18-25 to co-design procedures which will make lodging a complaint to the PTA clearer and more accessible, thereby helping young people to feel more supported should they need to lodge a complaint.
This workshop will explore:
· What kind of issues impact young people on public transport, and what issues are young people most likely to be dissatisfied with.
· What the current barriers are in the complaints procedures which stops young people from complaining.
· What are your ideas for designing a new youth-friendly complaints system.
· How young people would best like their complaints to be handled should they lodge one.
Participants will receive a $100 VISA Gift Card as compensation for participation. The workshop will also be catered with complimentary food and drink.
This workshop is for people ages 18 to 25.
