Pubagogy - PST Pubcrawl 2025
Event description
On the 11th of July, the Adelaide University Teaching Crew will be swapping textbooks for tap beer and lesson plans for lager in our annual, semi-educational, wildly social Teaching Pubcrawl: PUBAGOGY.
What’s Pubagogy, you ask? It’s the art and science of learning… at the pub. Think pedagogy, but with a shot of tequila and a healthy disregard for Monday’s 8am lecture.
Expect an evening of:
📚 Peer-reviewed pints
🧠 Learning objectives like “survive Cherry Bar”
🎓 Assessments that include rating your mate’s beer pour (rubrics will be strictly informal)
🍺 Professional development in how to line up at the bar efficiently
👕 Matching merch so hot it counts as PPE (Pub Party Equipment)
Whether you're an HD-hunting high achiever or just here for the extra-curriculars, Pubagogy promises rigorous social bonding, a little educational chaos, and a curriculum you’ll never forget (unless you have one too many drinks — then no promises).
Lesson begins at 5:30pm sharp. Attendance is mandatory.
BYO wit, wisdom, and hydration tablets.
The Crawl will start at Unibar and proceed as follows:
Unibar - 5:30-7pm
The British - 7pm-8:30pm
The Austral - 8:30pm-10pm
Cherry - 10pm-Late
