Join us for a powerful and engaging public forum that brings together frontline activists, community leaders, and experts in the Pacific to explore the critical intersections of climate action, anti-imperialism, and resistance to extractive industries.

Our distinguished panel of speakers will share their firsthand experiences and insights from the frontlines of these interconnected struggles. They will illuminate how extractive industries and militarism not only fuel the climate crisis but also perpetuate systems of exploitation and displacement that disproportionately affect marginalized communities around the world.

This forum aims to deepen our understanding of these complex issues and inspire collective action. Whether you're an activist, student, policymaker, or concerned citizen, you'll gain valuable insights and practical tools to contribute to a more just and sustainable world. Join us in this crucial conversation as we work together to envision and create a future free from the destructive impacts of extractive industries and the climate crisis.

This event is organized by ICAAD in collaboration with student collaborators from the International School on Climate Mobilities (ISCM). For a number of years, the ICAAD team has built relationships with human rights advocates across the Pacific standing up against militaries and multinational corporations in the world and supported this work through coordinating pro bono legal research, media advocacy, artivism, multidisciplinary research, and technology.
