The Australian Centre for Public History is partnering with the Paul Ramsay Foundation to bring you a series of events exploring the Public History of Darlinghurst. Since May 2021 we've been working on the Darlinghurst Public History Initiative, and now we are ready to share these histories with you. More info.
Community Histories
Darlinghurst is an 800m sq triangle of land home to many. There are also those that used to call it home, those who move through the area on their way to work or school, or those who visit purely for pleasure. Meet the people who have been talking with these communities, and what they can tell us about place, belonging and history.
You are warmly invited to join us at Yirranma Place Darlinghurst. We'll be discussing Community Histories with Carol Vale and Donna Ingram (Murawin), Leigh Boucher (Macquarie) and Dianne Moy (Social Impact Lab). Carol, Donna, Leigh and Dianne, have been running a series of engagement initiatives in Darlinghurst, and have a number of community stories
ready to share with us.
