Event description
Aim:
This course aims to assist you in the Public and Information Warnings Cell.
How the LDCC communicates with the community and how to issue an Australian Warnings System warning and an Emergency Alert.
Objectives:
- Understanding the role of Public Information and Warnings (PIW) cell
- Where to find PIW tools and templates
- How to prepare a warning
- How to issue a warning
- What is an Emergency Alert (EA)
- How to prepare and issue an EA

- Warnings and Alerts Module

This training will be delivered by Disaster and Emergency Management.
This training is a face-to-face session only. Please select 1 session either morning or afternoon.
