Public Lands Day Weekend
Event description
Join us for a weekend of connection with public lands and hands-on stewardship!
September 26: Arrive anytime and set up camp at the BLM Boat Launch. Bring your own camping gear and food, or take advantage of meals available at Rome Station (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
September 27 – Public Lands Day: We’ll head out into the Saddle Butte WSA to participate in data collection and land stewardship activities. Details on the specific work will be shared on-site.
September 28: Pack up and return to your homes. There may be additional opportunities for exploration that are being arranged for this day.
Notes:All participants are responsible for their own camping supplies and food.
Rome Station provides meals for those who prefer not to cook.
Come for the day, the weekend, or any part that fits your schedule—everyone is welcome!
