Big Morongo Canyon Preserve will conduct a Public Lands Day "clean up" on Saturday, October 26, from 8 am - noon, with the Bureau of Land Management. We have two "clean up" opportunities:

One group will be restoring off-road vehicle impacts within the BLM Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC) which includes removing discarded appliances and construction materials. A "roll off" bin will be deposited in this area for placement of the trash.
The second group, "Weed Warriors", will help to pull invasive species within the Big Morongo Canyon Preserve. A second "roll off" bin will be deposited at the Education Center for easy disposal of bagged weeds.

A pizza lunch and cold water will be provided. Pre-registration is required. Meet in the parking lot of the preserve.
