In collaboration with the Maritime Union of Australia (MUA) we invite you to join us either in-person in Sydney or virtually on 8 December at 4:00pm (AEDT) for the launch of our latest guidance publication focused on managing modern slavery within maritime shipping supply chains.

Despite being a key area of modern slavery and broader human rights risks, many Australian businesses are still in the early stages of identifying, managing, and mitigating human rights impacts associated with their use of maritime shipping. The publication seeks to raise awareness of key indicators of forced labour in the maritime context, provide the seafarer perspective, and outline practical steps that Australian businesses can take to manage risks.
