Event description

Pugoween started in 2016 as a fun way for the Wollongong Pug group to come together and raise money for charity. It started as a small pug meet where the pugs came in the best Halloween outfit and the humans purchased showbags, raffle tickets and cookies.

Each year, more and more people & pugs came along to join in the fun and help raise money. In 2019, Pugoween grew to it’s biggest event yet with stalls and a large crowd including the local newspaper.

Every year there are many amazing businesses who get involved to donate products and more for showbags, raffle prizes and best dressed prizes. Without these businesses and the Wollongong Pug community, Pugoween would not be the event it is today!

Pugoween makes a return to Figtree Dog Park in 2024 for what is set to be the biggest event for pug rescue to date.

Pugoween is a fun morning for all whilst raising money for pug rescue.

Pugoween 2024 will see the best dressed competition return along with the raffle, our infamous showbags as well as new activities.
