Description

This special workshop will be led by Ananya Raju (16) and Jai Ram Raju (14), who have grown up within a family lineage of Ayurvedic physicians and Ayurveda pulse masters.

From a young age they have been learning about pulse knowledge and Ayurveda, and enjoy sharing what they know with other young people in a way that is engaging, playful, and easy to understand.

Their parents, including Vaidya Dr Harsha Raju, will also be present to support and guide the session, ensuring the experience is welcoming, safe, and accessible for children of different ages.

The workshop is designed as an introductory experience for children and teenagers who are curious to begin learning how to feel their own pulse and explore how the body communicates through subtle signals.

Parents are warmly welcome to attend alongside their child. There is no additional cost for parents, and up to two parents may accompany each child.

Did you know your pulse can reveal far more than just your heartbeat?

In Ayurveda, the traditional medical science of India, the radial pulse is used to understand many aspects of the body and its inner balance. Learning to feel your own pulse can become a fascinating way of understanding yourself.

In this workshop, we are not trying to diagnose illness or become medical detectives. Instead, children and teenagers will begin learning how to connect with their own body through the pulse and develop curiosity about how their physiology works.

Through simple guided exercises, participants will learn how to locate and feel their pulse and begin noticing subtle rhythms within the body. It is a fun and empowering way to build self-awareness, attentiveness, and connection with the body.

Along the way, participants will also learn a little about Ayurveda, one of the world’s oldest systems of health, and how it views the body as an intelligent and interconnected system.

This evening is designed to be interactive, engaging, and inspiring for young people, while also giving parents a glimpse into this fascinating tradition.

Expect a lively and enjoyable session where children and teenagers discover something remarkable:

your body is always communicating with you - and your pulse is one of the best ways to listen.

Dr Harsha Raju will also be offering a limited amount of private 1-on-1 Ayurveda and Jyotish (Vedic Astrology) consultations as well as the famous Banana Purification, in Brisbane on Monday May 25th. Book HERE
