Punch up at the Pā

Punch Up at the Pā is back.

Saturday 19 September 2026. Parakiore Recreation and Sport Centre, Ōtautahi.

Nine bouts.

One night.

Our people in the ring.

This isn't your average fight night. For 12 weeks, contenders from across the takiwā of Ngāi Tahu have been training hard - building fitness, building connections, and building the courage to step into the ring in front of their whānau. Fight night is where it all comes together.

Expect high energy, real fights, and a crowd that gets behind every single contender - regardless of who they're backing. Cousins arguing over who's going to win. Whānau loud in the stands. That's the vibe.

Whether you've been to boxing before or this is your first time, you will not be disappointed.

Tickets: General Admission. 18+

Doors open 5:00pm. First bout 6:00pm.
