Punchy poster making with Wendy Murray
Event description
Work with prolific screen printer Wendy Murray to create a collaborative screen-printed work on paper. A visual artist who works in Los Angeles and Sydney, Wendy’s work addresses social and political issues through drawings, poster making and public art works. Wendy believes screen printing is for everyone and will equip you with the skills to make prints at home. You will learn how to create a print with a punchy message using water-based inks and hand-cut stencils, and leave the workshop inspired to make your own prints!
The workshop coincides with the ‘Future Foundations’ exhibition curated by Troppo Print Studio.
Suitable for all experience levels, ages 13 – adult.
Stencil cutting required but not mandatory. Materials provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
