Come experience a journey of self-discovery with through a powerful Transpersonal Breathwork ceremony, where conscious-connected breathing enables you to open a portal to your subconscious landscape and the depths of your being. This ancient technique empowers you to navigate through layers of consciousness, releasing unhelpful patterns, unlocking profound insights and fostering personal growth.

Guided by an experienced facilitator, you'll embark on an experience of exploration, utilising conscious-connected breathing, body awareness, and trauma release techniques to access meditative and altered states of consciousness. Within these states, you may encounter memories, emotions, and sensations from your subconscious, allowing for release, reframing, and profound integration.

This Breathwork journey is crafted with care, emphasizing trauma-informed principles and an inclusive, welcoming environment for all participants. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or new to Breathwork, you're invited to join us in this sacred journey of self-exploration and transformation.

Why consider breathwork?

Transpersonal Breathwork is an opportunity to drop below the chatter of the mind and the pace of the modern world. It is a practice of strongly activating our inner life force (prana) and allowing it to bring up and release that which is no-longer needed. By consciously engaging with your breath, you invite a process of transmutation from within, aligning your mind, body, and spirit with your truest self. It's a powerful practice for shedding what no longer serves you, clearing the path to wholeheartedly living.

Group Breathwork is a useful practice for:

working with unhelpful, held or stuck emotional material;
unlocking your life force and sense of vitality;
discharging stress, tension, anxiety, depression or stuck energy;
accessing and digesting unprocessed distressing experiences from the past;
understanding and repatterning limiting behaviours or thought processes;
using group energy to go deeper into your own process;
addressing relational material and experiencing being supported in a group setting;
working with and releasing ancestral, family systems and transpersonal wounds;
exploring consciousness and life questions; and
improving general well-being and health.

Breathwork is NOT meditation but rather a dynamic, body and breath based form of healing, transformation and deep inner unfolding.

What to bring:

a yoga mat (or thick blanket) to lie on
a blanket to put over you whilst breathing
a drink bottle
an eye mask (optional)
curiousity and an open mind

NB: You will be lying on a hard wooden floor for approximately 90mins so bring whatever you need to make your body comfortable.

Breathwork is NOT suitable for:

- people with cardiovascular problems, pregnancy, some psychiatric conditions, psychosis, recent surgery or fractures, acute infectious illness or epilepsy, severe hypertension, glaucoma, or active spiritual emergency.

The Facilitator:

Amber Nomchong is a highly qualified one-on-one and group breathwork practitioner as well as a Holistic Psychotherapist and Counsellor. She is a registered practitioner with the Australian Breathwork Association and the International Breathwork Foundation. She is committed to safe, ethical and inclusive offerings.

About Body Being: Amber’s passion is using Breathwork to support people to connect with their inner nature, to come home to themselves, digest the pain of the past, reclaim their sense of belonging and find space to live a self-loving, vital, conscious and whole life. Amber offers a heart centred practice bringing warmth, gentleness coupled with power and passion to support people to navigate their inner terrain. Accessibility:

- The venue is wheelchair accessible and the practice can be modified for those with accessibility restrictions. Please let us know your needs BEFORE the event so we can make suitable arrangements. The ceremony will be have participants sitting on the floor initially and then lying on the ground. Chairs can be made available for those who prefer, please let Amber know before the ceremony.

- Please note that loud and dynamic music will be played at times during the ceremony. If you are not comfortable with loud noise or hearing emotional releases from others, it may be beneficial to try a one on one Breathwork session (email Amber to discuss).
