Of all the child-centric festivals in the Jewish calendar, Purim is by far the one that grants kids and kids-at-heart permission to indulge in unadulterated fun.

Join us with your children at this year's Purim Family Carnival at Emanuel Synagogue for a fun-filled day designed especially for primary-aged children and their families in the joy, mitzvot, and story of Purim. The program will begin with a short, dynamic mini-Megillah reading, followed by a Royal Runway costume parade and a rotating carnival of interactive stations. A dedicated Years 5-8 feature, the Shushan Challenge, will run alongside the carnival as an Amazing Race-style team quest. The festivities will conclude with a seudah (pizza, snacks and piles of hamantaschen) and the announcement of the prizes.

COFFEE CART FOR PARENTS

The campus will be transformed into a Purim palace, with games, activities, decorations, and music in every corner, giving kids the opportunity to fulfil all four mitzvot of Purim—reading the Megillah, giving gifts, eating a special meal, and helping those in need.

The annual Purim spiel spectacular, Back to the Jewture, will be staged at 6.30 pm that evening. allowing families plenty of time to go home, freshen up, have an early dinner and come back for more. Register here to join us.
