Purim Spiel 2026: Back to the Jewture at Emanuel Synagogue

Come one, come all to our all-singing, all-dancing Purim spiel spectacular.

On Sunday 1 March, join us as we take a vividly vibrant voyage back to the Jewture. Come dressed in your flashy ’80s finery—we want layered, clashing neon athleisure wear, lycra, shoulder pads, teased tresses, blue eyeshadow, fingerless gloves, legwarmers and a pep in your step. The brighter and bolder the better as we travel back in time with Esther to 1986 and see if she can save the Jewish Future from the clutches of Haman. It's the most fun you will have at shul all year.

As is tradition, please pack your pockets with non-perishable food donations for our drive.

When the curtains close, we will enjoy a mountain of handmade Hamantaschen lovingly filled and folded by our most talented congregants. Register here to join one of our baking bee sessions.
