PURPLE COLOUR RUN + FUN DAY: Awareness for Domestic & Family Violence

Join us for a FREE day filled with color, community, and a crucial cause at the PURPLE COLOUR RUN + FUN DAY. Presented by the Northern Gold Coast Rotaract Club and The Meeting Place, this vibrant event aims to promote awareness for domestic and family violence while providing a delightful day out for families and individuals alike.

When: 9th of December 

Time: 10am - 12pm

Where: The Meeting Place: Oxenford/Coomera Community & Youth Centre (25 Leo Graham Way, Oxenford)

• Colourful Run: Participate in a fun-filled colour run where every step raises awareness and supports those affected by domestic and family violence.

Why Purple? Purple is the color symbolizing courage, survival, and honor, and has become associated with the fight against domestic and family violence. By participating in the PURPLE COLOUR RUN + FUN DAY, you are showing solidarity with survivors and taking a stand against violence in our community.

16 Days of Activism: This event aligns with the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence, a campaign to challenge violence against women and girls around the world.
